Roosevelt better keep an eye on Aubrie Baruch. She was instrumental in La Serna's win, rushing for 73 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 62 yards and one TD.
La Serna didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Aleeah Barrientos led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Haley Alvarez was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making five total tackles.
La Serna's win bumped their record up to 17-11-1. As for Roosevelt, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
