Basketball Recap: Saratoga Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shoshoni, Saratoga was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 49-39 victory over the Meeteetse Longhorns. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Meeteetse still got an impressive performance from Max Potas, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Potas' morning made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Aiden Elliott was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Saratoga's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Meeteetse, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Saratoga wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-36 victory against Riverside on the 20th. As for Meeteetse, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-45 defeat against Shoshoni on the 20th.
