Baseball Recap: American Comes Up Short

American suffered their closest defeat since April 15, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Dade Christian Warriors by a score of 8-6. The Patriots have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Anthony Garcia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

American's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Dade Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-12 record.

Looking ahead, American will square off against St. Brendan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sabres' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Dade Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
