Tempe is a perfect 5-0 against Yuma since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Buffaloes will host the Criminals at 5:00 p.m.

Tempe is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Desert Sunrise just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Hawks.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-7, 21-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Yuma hadn't done well against Cortez recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Criminals came out on top against the Colts by a score of 3-1.

Yuma's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Tempe, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Tempe skirted past Yuma 3-2 in their previous meeting on Friday. Will the Buffaloes repeat their success, or do the Criminals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
