Soccer Recap: Edisto Takes a Loss

If Edisto was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Barnwell last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the Swansea Tigers on Tuesday, falling 8-1. Edisto were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Edisto's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Swansea, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edisto will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Swansea, they will head out to square off against Powdersville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
