Baseball Game Preview: Timber Creek Wolves vs. Lake Nona Lions

The Timber Creek Wolves will face off against the Lake Nona Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Timber Creek 3.3, Lake Nona 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Timber Creek's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Bishop Moore by a score of 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

Lake Nona might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to Hagerty, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Timber Creek's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Lake Nona, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
