Soccer Recap: Lead Southeast Starts Season with Win Against Independence Academy

Lead Southeast gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Independence Academy Lions a 9-0 shutout.

Having lost for the first time this season, Independence Academy fell to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lead Southeast will head out to face off against KIPP Global at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Independence Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Stewarts Creek at 7:00 p.m. on March 27th.
