Volleyball Recap: Parowan Takes a Loss

Parowan was the 3-1 winner over Panguitch when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams came up short against the Bobcats on Friday, falling 3-0.

Parowan was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-22.

Erika Kelley paced Parowan's offense, picking up nine kills. Kelley got some help from Ryann Robinson and her 19 assists.

Panguitch can attribute much of their success to Brooklyn Harland, who had 13 digs. Harland is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Parowan's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8. As for Panguitch, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Parowan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Emery on the 27th. As for Panguitch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Juab on the 27th.
