The Grace Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to take on the Terry Sanford Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grace Christian comes in on 28 and Terry Sanford on four.
On Friday, Grace Christian didn't have too much trouble with NC GBB Academy National at home as they won 64-48. Given Grace Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while NC GBB Academy National is ranked 43rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
In what's become a running theme this season, Terry Sanford gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They really took it to Westover for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-38 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Terry Sanford has posted against Westover since January 6, 2021.
Terry Sanford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaidiah Blake out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, nine rebounds, and 11 steals. Blake hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Breonna Roaf was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with ten assists and seven steals.
Grace Christian's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39 points. As for Terry Sanford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
