Frontier Academy extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Owen Steward. The Frontier Academy Wolverines secured a 56-51 W over the Fort Morgan Mustangs on Wednesday thanks in part to Steward, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Belt, who posted eight points in addition to seven assists and four steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

Fort Morgan lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being JJ Marquez, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 21 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Carlo Bassalle, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Frontier Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Fort Morgan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier Academy will square off against Brush at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brush has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three games. As for Fort Morgan, they will host Thornton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
