Fayetteville had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Tuesday. They blew past the Round Top-Carmine Cubs, posting a 75-33 win. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 627th, while the Cubs are ranked 1617th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fayetteville's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-8. As for Round Top-Carmine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-21.
