Sunset is 8-2 against Aloha since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Apollos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Sunset will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
On Friday, Sunset made easy work of Beaverton and carried off a 15-1 victory. The Apollos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.
Sydney Arnold made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March.

Sunset's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Aloha, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Aloha's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sunset has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Aloha, though, as they've been averaging 8.7 hits. Given Sunset's sizable advantage in that area, the Warriors will need to find a way to close that gap.
Sunset took their win against Aloha in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 10-4 score. Will the Apollos repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
