Basketball Recap: New Prague Comes Up Short

New Prague was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the John Marshall Rockets and fell 71-34. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Rockets are ranked 27th).

New Prague's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for John Marshall, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-5.

New Prague does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for John Marshall, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-42 victory against Farmington on the 8th.
