The biggest upset of the week belonged to Page, who took down 80th ranked Page, 28-27.

Giles County extended the longest winning streak in AA District 12 this week by beating Lewis County, 47-12. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.

Giles County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Al Cobb threw for 231 and one touchdown and Kenton Baker had 100 yards receiving. On the ground Nieco Walker chipped in 142 yards. Walker helped Giles County's passing attack out by catching four balls for 80 yards.

David O'Connor's team's Cobb and Baker have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Cobb has thrown for 1815 yards this season, while Baker, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 50 catches for 953 yards. Ryan Bell from the Panthers leads the league in rushing with 847 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Giles County takes on second place Page. Last week, the Bobcats topped Lewis County, while the Patriots lost to Marshall County.

Giles County's Baker needs only 47 receiving yards against Page to crack 1,000 for the season.

Entering into this week's contest against the Patriots, Cobb is short just 185 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Page takes on Giles County. The Patriots have allowed 147 points this season, while the Bobcats have given up 67. Page allowed 28 points last week as it lost to the Tigers.

East Hickman County and Hickman County played the most hotly contested game in AA District 12 this week, with East Hickman County eventually emerging with a 21-20 victory.
