Recap: Enka Jets vs. East Henderson Eagles
The Enka Jets were the 65-52 winner over the East Henderson Eagles when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Enka fell just short of East Henderson by a score of 47-45. Enka has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Jets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Haley Fish, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Merrell, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Enka's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for East Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enka will take on North Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Henderson comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for East Henderson, they will head out on the road to face off against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
