Soccer Recap: Smiths Station Takes a Loss

Smiths Station was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Providence Christian Eagles. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Smiths Station's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Providence Christian, the win got them back to even at 2-2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Smiths Station duke it out with Trinity Presbyterian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Providence Christian, they will take on Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
