Volleyball Game Preview: Freeman Flyers vs. Ethan Rustlers

The Freeman Flyers will head out on the road to face off against the Ethan Rustlers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Freeman saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northwestern Area. The Flyers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Ethan didn't have quite enough to beat Bridgewater/Emery on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Ethan took Bridgewater/Emery into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-15, 18-25, 15-9.

Ethan's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Freeman, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Freeman couldn't quite get it done against Ethan when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Flyers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
