Baseball Recap: Webber Trojans vs. Cobden Appleknockers
Webber gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the Cobden Appleknockers. The win was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Kylan Moser made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over 5.2 innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Walker Sherwin was excellent, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Zhayne Belmont, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
