Volleyball Recap: Make It 11 in a Row for Morrill

Morrill entered their tilt with Banner County on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Morrill was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11.

Madisyn Carrizales paced Morrill's offense, picking up eight kills. Carrizales got some help from Makayla Dykes and her 13 assists. Dykes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Morrill's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Banner County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Morrill has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hay Springs on the 14th. As for Banner County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Creek Valley on the 18th.
