Recap: Harvey Hornets vs. Towner-Granville-Upham Titans

The Harvey Hornets were the 51-39 winner over the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Harvey had to suffer through a rough 66-28 loss at the hands of Towner-Granville-Upham. Harvey was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-13.

Despite the loss, Harvey saw an underclassman step up: Rachel Neumiller scored 11 points along with three steals. Neumiller scored a full 39.3% of Harvey's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Dockter, who scored two points along with three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Harvey and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1. As for Towner-Granville-Upham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Harvey will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bishop Ryan at 7:30 p.m. Bishop Ryan is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Towner-Granville-Upham, they will face off against Drake/Anamoose at TBD on Friday. Drake/Anamoose will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Dakota Rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Towner-Granville-Upham is ranked 35th).
