Soccer Recap: Gilbert Comes Up Short

If Gilbert was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Brookland-Cayce last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians lost 4-0 to the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles on Thursday. Gilbert were not able to make up for their defeat to Gray Collegiate Academy from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Gilbert's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Gilbert wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against North Augusta on the 23rd. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Providence on the 21st.
