Baseball Recap: Necedah Takes a Loss

Necedah lost against Wonewoc-Center last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 2-1.

Necedah has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Wonewoc-Center, their win bumped their record up to 3-14.

Necedah and Wonewoc-Center could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Cardinals will square off against Mondovi at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (407 vs. 46). Meanwhile, Wonewoc-Center (ranked 408th) will meet Ithaca (ranked 177th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
