A well-balanced attack led Greenfield-Central over Perry Meridian in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Everything went the Greenfield-Central Cougars' way against the Perry Meridian Falcons as the Greenfield-Central Cougars made off with a 55-30 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greenfield-Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Sonsini, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Chaney Brown, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 12 points and three steals.

Perry Meridian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Mariah Thomas, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds, and Aubriana Haugh, who earned six points.

Greenfield-Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Perry Meridian, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenfield-Central will welcome Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th. Greenfield-Central is facing Anderson at the right time seeing as Anderson is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Perry Meridian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
