Baseball Game Preview: Chino Hills Huskies vs. Etiwanda Eagles

For the second straight game, Chino Hills will face off against Etiwanda. The Huskies will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Chino Hills' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Etiwanda's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Chino Hills will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Etiwanda, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Huskies walked away with a 5-1 win over the Eagles on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Brody Buoncristiani made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Jimenez, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Tatem Borgogno was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
