Basketball Recap: Cabrini Comes Up Short

Cabrini came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the De La Salle Cavalier, falling 48-23. The defeat continues a trend for the Crescents in their meetings with the Cavalier: they've now lost four in a row.

Cabrini's loss dropped their record down to 5-16-1. As for De La Salle, they pushed their record up to 21-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Cabrini had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
