Basketball Recap: McCook Central/Montrose Comes Up Short

McCook Central/Montrose won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They lost 65-45 to the Wall Eagles.

Wall's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emmet Dinger, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Dinger a new career-high in points. Teelan Kjerstad was another key player, putting up 18 points along with five assists and five boards.

McCook Central/Montrose's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Wall, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3.

McCook Central/Montrose will head out to square off against Kimball/White Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wall, they will challenge Chamberlain at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
