Heritage Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 44-35 victory over the Stephenville FAITH Knights. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Heritage Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Matthew Pappas out in front who went 6-for-15 on his way to 14 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Pappas has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. Graham Hicks was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards.

Heritage Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Heritage Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Stephenville FAITH, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Heritage Christian Academy will welcome Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stephenville FAITH, they will head out on the road to challenge Tournament Opponent on Thursday.
