Basketball Recap: Nevada Find Success

Nevada posted their closest victory since October 25th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Acorn Tigers 65-63. The Blue Jays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Nevada and bumps their season record up to 15-4. As for Acorn, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nevada and Genoa Central will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Acorn, they will be home for the holidays to greet Waldron at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
