Baseball Recap: Bishop O'connell Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bishop O'Connell can now relate to. They lost 8-2 to the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since April 2nd.

Bishop O'Connell got a good showing from Drew Markey, who pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, Chaz Walker was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Bishop O'Connell's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-6. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.
