Basketball Game Preview: Woodville Eagles vs. Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves

The Woodville Eagles will start their season against the Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves. Tip off is scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Pineywoods Community Academy will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Diboll, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Pineywoods Community Academy managed a 53-49 win over Diboll on Tuesday.

Pineywoods Community Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-12.

As for Woodville, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they wound up perfectly balanced, finishing 18-18.

Woodville came up short against Pineywoods Community Academy when the teams last played back in January, falling 68-59. Thankfully for Woodville, Zeke Shepherd (who went 12 for 16 on his way to 36 points and five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
