Eau Claire had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 45-37 win over the Blacksburg Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Shamrocks also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.

Blacksburg's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Essence Rodgers, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Tessner, who earned 11 points.

Eau Claire's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Blacksburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.

As of now, neither Eau Claire nor Blacksburg have any future games scheduled.
