Mackenzie Burns Game Report: vs Jackson

Pinckney came out on top against Jackson on Monday thanks in part to Mackenzie Burns's efforts. Burns was dialed in as she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. It looks like she has Jackson's number considering she had a big game the last time she faced them back in April of 2024.

Burns' strong effort led Pinckney over Jackson and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings are limping into the matchup having lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season.
