Basketball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

The Valley Lumberjacks came up short against the Wirt County Tigers on Friday, falling 70-45. That's two games in a row now that the Lumberjacks have lost by exactly 25 points.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wirt County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Magnolia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wirt County, they will welcome Parkersburg Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
