Football Recap: Lytle Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Lytle's offense. They fell 13-0 to the Poteet Aggies on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Pirates' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Lytle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Poteet, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Lytle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 56-27 loss against Hondo on the 17th. As for Poteet, they have also already played their next matchup, a 55-12 defeat against Crystal City on the 17th.
