Football Recap: Lytle Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lytle's offense. They fell 13-0 to the Poteet Aggies on Friday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Lytle's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Poteet, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Coming up, Lytle will challenge Hondo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' defense better be ready for this one: the Owls have averaged an impressive 40.8 points per game this season. As for Poteet, they will welcome Crystal City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
