Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greater New Bedford RVT). Everything went their way against the West Bridgewater Wildcats on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Mark Tiffany looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Boston Bettencourt, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Greater New Bedford RVT hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.

Greater New Bedford RVT's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for West Bridgewater, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
