Softball Game Preview: Boiling Springs Bubblers vs. Lancaster Catholic Crusaders

The Boiling Springs Bubblers will square off against the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Boiling Springs made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Susquehanna Township, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Boiling Springs never let Susquehanna Township get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Friday.

Delaney Lawyer made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Boiling Springs got a massive performance out of Madison Bennett, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Allen, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, everything went Lancaster Catholic's way against Delone Catholic on Friday as Lancaster Catholic made off with a 12-3 win.

Boiling Springs now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lancaster Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
