In other batting news, Tanner Miller was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Schott, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Kokomo not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23rd (when they won 15-4). They blew past Marion 12-2.

Brighton Harris looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kokomo let Cameron Parks and J.J. Gillespie run wild. Parks earned three runs and three stolen bases, while Gillespie went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Kokomo's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Noblesville, their record is now 13-8.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Noblesville has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Kokomo struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Noblesville beat Kokomo 4-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Do the Millers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildkats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
