Baseball Game Preview: Laconia Spartans vs. Campbellsport Cougars

For the second straight game, Laconia will face off against Campbellsport. The Spartans will challenge the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Laconia's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Campbellsport's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Laconia is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Campbellsport, who was ranked 16th at the time (Laconia was ranked 14th). The Spartans blew past the Cougars 9-2 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won five matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Campbellsport's part, Kyler Bowe was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
