Basketball Recap: Logan Memorial Education Campus Comes Up Short

Logan Memorial Education Campus won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They had to suffer through a 56-19 loss at the hands of the Morse Tigers. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

Morse's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Irasusta, who posted 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Perez, who earned 11 points and three steals.

Logan Memorial Education Campus' defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Morse, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Logan Memorial Education Campus will venture away from home to challenge Kearny at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Kearny's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Morse, they will welcome Crawford at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Morse is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
