Basketball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Campus Starts Season with Win Against Varsity Opponent

Thomas Jefferson Campus gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They breezed past Varsity Opponent to the tune of 127-57.

Thomas Jefferson Campus' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Lewis, who shot 71% from the field en route to 28 points in addition to six steals and five assists. What's more, Lewis also posted a 43% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Another player making a difference was Richard Jackson Jr., who went 9-for-16 to rack up 25 points along with six assists and six steals.
