Softball Recap: Bibb County's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bibb County had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Holt Ironmen. Considering the Choctaws have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Bibb County's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-22. As for Holt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Bibb County has already played their next game, a 13-6 loss against West Blocton on the 26th. Holt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
