Recap: Lithia Springs Lions vs. Tri-Cities Bulldogs
The Lithia Springs Lions lost against the Tri-Cities Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lithia Springs fell to Tri-Cities 57-53. While losing is never fun, Lithia Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Tri-Cities is ranked 167th).
Tri-Cities found their leader in underclassman Tre Keith, who scored 24 points. The game was Keith's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden London, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Lithia Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Tri-Cities, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Lithia Springs will head out on the road to face off against Midtown at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Midtown is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Tri-Cities, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Therrell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
