Basketball Recap: Kohelet Yeshiva Gets the Win

Pine Forge Academy came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Kohelet Yeshiva, but Chezky Levitt wouldn't allow it. Kohelet Yeshiva were the clear victor by a 55-32 margin over Pine Forge Academy on Wednesday thanks in part to Levitt, who went 8 of 9 on his way to 23 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the defeat, Pine Forge Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jonathan Pluviose dropped a double-double on ten points and 19 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Misael Butler, who posted ten points.

The victory got Kohelet Yeshiva back to even at 1-1. As for Pine Forge Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Kohelet Yeshiva didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-55 win against Mesivta on the 7th. As for Pine Forge Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 82-34 defeat against New Foundations on the 9th.
