Lafayette came tearing into Wednesday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Parkway West Longhorns 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Lafayette won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Addy Wiese, who had 11 digs and four assists.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Parkway West, their loss ended a ten-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-9-1.

Lafayette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fayetteville on the 10th. As for Parkway West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Parkway Central on the 11th.
