Bennett County and New Underwood are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bennett County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 21 games.

Bennett County will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Rapid City Christian, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Warriors came out on top against the Comets by a score of 3-1 last Friday.

Bennett County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-18, 25-16, 26-24.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Underwood had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past Oelrichs 3-0. The victory continues a trend for New Underwood in their matchups with Oelrichs: they've now won nine in a row.

New Underwood's win bumped their record up to 9-24. As for Bennett County, their victory bumped their record up to 34-4.

Bennett County was able to grind out a solid win over New Underwood when the teams last played back in October, winning 2-0. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
