Gretna East faced Omaha South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Griffins lost 3-0 to the Packers. Gretna East's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Gretna East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Omaha South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.
