Softball Game Preview: Beekman Charter Tigers vs. Rayville Hornets

The Beekman Charter Tigers will take on the Rayville Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Rayville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Beekman Charter, who comes in off a win.

Beekman Charter headed into their last matchup having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Delhi Charter let them put that streak behind them. Beekman Charter sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 win over Delhi Charter on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Rayville came up short against Vidalia on Saturday, falling 15-4. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Beekman Charter's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-12. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Rayville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
