Mansfield lost against Canton on October 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hornets fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mansfield started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-16.

Mansfield's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Canton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
