Basketball Recap: Lansing Comes Up Short

Lansing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 59-48 to the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in February.

Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Basehor-Linwood, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lansing will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Turner at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Basehor-Linwood also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Leavenworth on January 3, 2025. Basehor-Linwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Leavenworth likes a good challenge.
